Overview of DOE Systems for New Staff

Start with Galaxy (https://mygalaxy.nycenet.edu/):

To receive a DOE email, please work with your principal or Galaxy table maintainer (usually a director of operations) to be added to your schools' table of organization (TO) in Galaxy. DOE credentials are auto generated when staff members are added to the school's Galaxy TO. Once added to the Galaxy TO, staff members receive an email with assigned DOE credentials and password reset guidance to the personal email listed in Galaxy.

If you transition to a new charter school, your DOE email address will not follow you. The only exception is if you are transitioning within the same network of schools.

Every principal on the Galaxy TO, automatically has access to Galaxy and its functions. The principal and any current table maintainers have the ability to designate additional table maintainers.

Next, log into your DOE email (https://outlook.office.com/owa/?realm=schools.nyc.gov):

DOE credentials are auto generated when staff members are added to the school's Galaxy TO. Once added to the Galaxy TO, staff members receive an email with assigned DOE credentials and password reset guidance to the personal email listed in Galaxy.

If you didn't receive the email after 24 hours after being added to the TO in Galaxy, submit a ticket.

If you need SESIS access (https://sesis.nycenet.edu/userlogin.aspx):

Charter schools determine who has SESIS access by adding the relevant SESIS role to the user on the Galaxy Table of Organization (TO): Under Assign Roles, Charter Teacher - Special Education, box needs to be checked. Please work with your Galaxy table maintainer (usually the principal or director of operations) to ensure they assign you the necessary permissions. You would then access SESIS using the same DOE credentials.

Please note that DOE email, Galaxy, and SESIS use the same DOE username and password. If you need support resetting your password: https://charterschools.mojohelpdesk.com/mc/knowledge-base/articles/303154. If you cannot log into any of the three, go back to your email, reset password and ensure that you can log into your email before trying Galaxy and/or SESIS. If you can log into one, but not all three, submit a ticket.

If you need ATS/CPS/FAMIS Access:

ATS: https://schools.ra.nyc.gov/

CPS: https://www.finance360.org/standalone/cps/Login.aspx?login=

FAMIS: https://www.finance360.org/famis/portal/login.aspx

Users must first be on their DBN’s Galaxy Table of Organization and have a DOE email.

Please fully complete these forms, signed by the principal or director of operations. https://www.cognitoforms.com/NYCDOECharterOffice/DOESystemAccessRequestForm

Submit DOE systems access requests for ATS, CPS, or FAMIS to SystemsAccess@schools.nyc.gov.

Please note that you cannot do an online IDM submission for ATS, CPS, or FAMIS access. It will not process. You must email your forms to SystemsAccess@schools.nyc.gov.

If you are requesting access to ATS or ATSSUM, please also complete this form to be added to the WebConnect access group: https://charterschools.mojohelpdesk.com/mc/knowledge-base/articles/315837
